What a good time to celebrate the resurrection of the greatest person to ever set foot on the earth, Jesus Christ. I can not even tell you how much impact the Savior has had I my life. Aren't they the cutest? We needed a few fun ballerina photos for one of our March Limited Edition themes, Little Ballerinas! The Children's Limited Edition Portraiture themes for March are Little Ballerinas and High Key (bright white background). These two little girls got to be our models. The oldest one loved being all dressed up and had lots of fun dancing all over the studio. The baby was so adorable and was so curious about her tutu. Two New Things...!

Two new things that are happening!

One - We are launching a new company called "MASTER THE IMAGE". It will be directed towards the training of photographers in the latest photographic techniques. About half of this will be hand-on seminars around the country and the other half will be internet based training. It's still some much in the infant stage of the whole thing. I've wanted to do something like this for the longest time. I love to teach and I love photography! So I thought I could be successful at both at the same time. For several months I've been working with a company called QUICK PRO CAMERA GUIDES out of Hyrum, UT. They sell camera tutorials around the nations and parts of Canada. They are one of the best in the camera tutorial department. If your looking to find out more about that new camera you just purchased they are the one to help you.

We have been working together on a couple of training DVDs. Hope to have a couple of new releases by mid-spring.

Second - I told you all about our new photographer joining the studio, Alexis Miller. Well we are planning a new children's portrait division called, "LIMITED EDITION PORTRAITS'. We will have two or three children themes each month. Starting in February our themes are HATS and MAKING FACES.

Somthing is about to change...

Here at Mackleys we are undergoing a few changes. We've seen some great things happening in the children's portraiture market and have wanted to change our style for some time. With some many things on my plate, I never made the changes. Now I feel we're ready...

We're teaming up with Alexis Miller, a great photographer, here in Cache Valley. We've decided it would be a win-win situation to combined our efforts. She has a great eye and is very skilled in many things. She teaches photography and Photoshop at BATC. In addition has a very successful photography studio. She will be exclusive member of our talented team we have here at Mackleys.

We are excited about future! Very soon we will be starting new children portrait division, called "Limited Edition Portaiture". These will be childrens themed portraiture. Every month we will have a different theme that will capture the essence and purity of children and babies in breathtaking portraits that touch your heart. Our first Limited Edition theme will be "HATS & BOWS" and "LITTLE FACES" starting in Febuary. Check back soon on all the details! I 'll will post them here first as soon as I iron it all out.

Well, it's finally here... our new website!! Same name just a whole new look! The front splash page give you three different options. To go to a wedding section, our blog site, or a portrait section. I love the new look, the flash animation, and the music to set the mood. I not sure what type of mood I'm trying to set. It's just seem nicer to listen to some tunes while you browse. It is so easy to update and add new information... love it!

Took at LITTLE road trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats along with some of my favorite people in the whole world, the Nielsen family. Here are the new senior models for 2007! They are some awesome looking kids. We've been working on a big senior project that's coming up. A promotion with the BUCKLE in the Cache Valley mall where you can recieve $25 off your sessions fee wiht a $50 purchase from the BUCKLE!! There will also be 52" LCDTV showing a little slideshow of some of the best images taken of each senior model.

We will also be mailing out a flyer that show all of our upcoming senior specials in about a week or so. If you can't wait till then just e-mail me or call the studio, (435.753.0085), for the specials!!
